Life Between Borders
The documentary Life Between Borders, was shot inside our safe shelters, featuring several of the activists residing there. It is the work of journalists from Afghanistan who are themselves living in hiding. The people of Afghanistan are screaming as loudly as they can about what is happening to them. Will anyone hear?
Life Saving Protection
A security assessment of the activists residing in a FFTA safe shelter found that:

All of the activist report being impacted by deportation efforts. A quarter had been taken into custody at least once already.

There is known to be an active arrest warrant inside Afghanistan for 75% of the activists. 50% have a family member with an arrest warrant.

Before fleeing to Pakistan, 38% of the activists were held in custody by the authorities in response to their peaceful activities.
