Nazila's Family

Nazila is a courageous protester who refused to stay silent when the Taliban erased women’s rights. Her repeated participation in public demonstrations forced her family into hiding and ultimately into exile.

Since arriving in Pakistan, life has been an ongoing struggle. They have no access to education or healthcare, and both parents suffer from chronic pain. Psychological distress hangs over the entire family as they cope with constant uncertainty and threats of deportation.

In Brazil, Nazila dreams of returning to her studies and advocating for women’s and children’s rights in a free society.
