Afghan Refugee Letter Project
FFTA is collecting letters and statements to be bundled together and delivered to the offices of the President, Secretary of State, and National Security Advisor Waltz from:
-
Afghans impacted by recent budget and immigration measures.
-
Afghans who would benefit from an expansion of programs providing asylum.
-
Organizations run for the benefit of Afghan people/causes.
-
Americans who are invested in the future of Afghan people.
In addition to these letters, a private list of the names of those with SIV, P1, P2 cases will be attached with a request for a specific review of these cases with an aim to re-opening the asylum process for Afghans in a safe and orderly manner.
Letters will be collected through February 20, 2025. It is our intention to have them delivered by February 28, 2025. Please follow us on social media to keep up with press releases and social media regarding this project.
Important Notes
Only letters written in English can be included. Please note that letters run through a translation tool may not be included if the translated text is unclear.
