About the event

Join us on June 20 at Maison 114 in Geneva for an event that will allow you to discover our association, recently established in Geneva.


Co-founders Rebecca Trotter and Reshad Ahmad Attaï will welcome you in a warm atmosphere, accompanied by traditional Afghan music.


Through the screening of a short documentary, discover the moving journey of Homa Karimi, a young Afghan football player whose dream was to join the national team, but who was forced to flee her country with her family, traveling through Pakistan to Brazil in order to continue her education and preserve her freedom.


The screening will be followed by a speech from Maryam Yunus Ebner, president of the Green Party of Geneva and member of Food for Thought Afghanistan, who will share her own journey—having arrived in Switzerland at the age of eight—as well as her commitment to Afghan women.
